The surface is actually cleaned by a special combination of detergents and then rinsed with low-pressure water. By using this lower pressure, there is less chance of harming the surface area. The detergent is a combination of soaps and chemicals, such as sodium hypochlorite, that clings to the surface and lets the detergent clean more effectively. The solution stays on the surface long enough until all the mold, mildew, and algae are killed. The rest is then washed from the top down to remove any and all dirt and soap.
